FAQ Antique Vendor Perryville Commemoration
Why bring my antiques and military items to Perryville Battlefield? I thought it was just a reenactment…. Perryville Battlefield offers one of the best attended battle commemoration events in the Commonwealth. During 2010 we had over 4,000 visitors during the weekend events. We offer excellent speakers, museum exhibits and living history experiences for our visitors. Providing a select group of antique vendors and exhibitors will only increase our visitors experience and provide yet more visitation and opportunities for both the park and our vendors.
Where can I stay during the event? Danville has several accommodations that should suit your needs. Please check the Danville/Boyle County Chamber of Commerce listings at www.betterindanville.com
Your camper/trailers are welcome in the Vendor/Exhibitor lot, but no hook-ups will be available, and no exterior accessories (grills, fire pits, chairs, canopies, etc.) will be allowed.
Where will the show be? The show will be on the grounds of Perryville Battlefield State Historic Site. The park will provide large and enclosed tents that will accommodate several vendors and ample space for the public to peruse your wares.
What about security? The park will provide security. Just like other shows – you will have an opportunity to set up and restock during specific hours. After that the area will be restricted during closed hours and security will patrol the area.
What if I have specific questions? Please do not hesitate to call the park and ask for help (859-332-8631.) You may also email me at joan.house@ky.gov
