Reenactor Registration for Commemoration

Registering for Perryville 2011 can be done in two ways - either complete on line registration form and pay on line or download the Registration Form and mail it in. You may also contact the park to request participation information and a registration package at 859-332-8631 or email joan.house@ky.gov
Completing and submitting the registration form indicates that you read and understand the participation guidelines and are required to adhere to these guidelines with no exceptions.
Registration Instructions:
Fully complete the registration form. Participant names should be clearly indicated as they will be recorded in our registered participant list. Indicate the unit name and unit contact person. Mailed registration confirmation will be sent to the address listed on form. In the boxes, please check “Union” or “Confederate”, all branches that apply, and where your members will be camping. Please indicate if you are intending to participate in the Military Camp (which requires you to camp in the Military Only Camp), Living History Village (which requires you to camp and adhere to the rules of that camping area) or Mixed Camp (which is the Camp of Convenience provided for military and civilian participants camping together. You must receive permission of military commanders to have any civilians quartered in the military camp). Your registration will not be accepted unless this information is included. If applicable please note the number and type of cannon you may be bringing. Also indicate any horses on site so that we will be able to have enough hay on hand.
2) Registration Fees. The registration fee will be $7.00 if paid before June 30, 2011. $10.00 from July 1 – September 23, 2011 (*see child fees below). Due to the particular nature of the program walk-ons will not be allowed. You may submit payment electronically through paypal (Click here) or you may mail payment with registration forms. Please do not send cash. Make your check or money order payable to: Friends of Perryville Battlefield. All of this money goes to this organization exclusively for battlefield preservation efforts. Perryville Battlefield State Historic Site has grown from 98 acres to nearly 700 acres in the last few years.
*Children Age 5 and under no fee required, but parent must sign waiver form.
Age’s 6 – 11 fees are $3.00 if paid by June 30, 2011and $5.00 until September 23, 2011.
Age 12 and above will pay applicable regular participant fee.
3) Waivers. The waiver form is downloadable. Most of you know that filling out and signing waivers is the most time-consuming aspect of the on – site check in process. If possible please have all the waivers pre-signed and on file to expedite the on – site processing. Waivers will also be available at the event check in.

5) Deadlines: Registration must be postmarked by or on June 30, 2011 to receive the reduced rate of $7.00. A $10.00 Registration Fee will apply to all registrations postmarked by September 23, 2011.
NO WALK ONs are permitted.
Once completed registrations are received, they will be entered into the event database. Signed waivers will be filed by unit or organization. Upon completion of the registration process unit commanders or contacts will be issued registration confirmation number. Unit commanders or contact person will be responsible for distributing these confirmations numbers. Registered participants need to present their registration number at on-site check in to receive event information and additional passes.
Substitutions are allowed as long as they sign the waiver on site.
